On the tools

Delivering digital strategy across a range of verticals for many years has seen me involved with online marketing channels including SEO, PPC, remarketing, CRO, affiliates, PR, content marketing, social media, SMS, automation & heaps more besides.

I’ve also helped numerous brands and agencies realise the power of data in their marketing activity by improving their data capabilities, evolving analytics set-ups, developing custom data integrations with CRMs, building bespoke reporting solutions & leading internal education programs to highlight the importance of data fluidity.

The journey

Having began my career in the UK, I moved out to Australia in 2013, challenged with establishing a new office for Epiphany in Sydney, the first international location for the agency.

Recruiting staff, building brand equity, securing clients and delivering digital marketing services, I was able to achieve a $1+ million turnover in year one. The agency continued to grow in APAC over the following years and soon became the best performing office location in the group.

Following an acquisition by Jaywing, and having lead on the subsequent rebrand across the agency, I left for a new challenge after being approached by the Brisbane-based agency PeriscoPe to head up their new Sydney office.

Most recently

Following over 2 years at Periscope, I joined hipages Group as their Head of Growth & Acquisition. hipages (ASX:HPG) are Australia and New Zealand’s largest online tradie marketplace, encompassing the brands of hipages, Tradiecore & Builderscrack.

As part of the senior leadership team, I head up multiple marketing functions and x-functional product teams, with the remit of growing both the B2C and B2B sides of their marketplace.
